Your Privacy Matters

Here’s how we protect your data.

Privacy Notice

Last updated: 7 September 2026

Sendough respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we may share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have.

Sendough is a service operated by Tree Hub Farms Ltd, company number 15431060, registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom.

Tree Hub Farms Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Notice or how we use your information, contact support@sendough.com.

Who can use Sendough

Sendough is currently intended for people aged 18 or over who are based in the United Kingdom.

By creating a Sendough account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Information we collect

We aim to collect only the information we need to provide, protect and improve Sendough.

Account information

When you create and use a Sendough account, we may collect:

  • your full name;

  • your email address;

  • your account status;

  • the date and time your account was created;

  • information relating to registration, email verification and login activity; and

  • information about security-sensitive account changes, such as password resets or changes to your email address.

Sendough currently uses email and password for account registration and email verification to confirm your address. We do not require a mobile number or WhatsApp account to create a Sendough account.

Device and login information

To keep accounts secure and support features such as quick re-login, we may collect:

  • IP addresses used when registering, logging in or re-authenticating;

  • login dates and times;

  • an app installation identifier;

  • device platform and operating-system information;

  • app version or build information where available;

  • device model where available; and

  • browser or app user-agent information.

If you choose to enable Face ID, Touch ID or another supported biometric quick-login feature, the biometric check is performed by your device. Sendough does not receive or store your fingerprint, face scan or other biometric template. We store only the credentials and technical information needed to support secure re-login.

Bank account information

When you want to receive your earnings, we may collect:

  • account holder name;

  • sort code; and

  • account number.

We use these details so we can make deposits of your available Sendough earnings to your nominated UK bank account.

Links, clicks, sales and earnings

When you use Sendough, we may record:

  • the links you share through Sendough;

  • when those links are created or shared;

  • clicks associated with those links;

  • technical information about clicks, including IP address, user agent and referring webpage where available;

  • technical classifications used to operate and protect the service;

  • tracked purchases or sales;

  • commission generated;

  • transaction status and adjustments;

  • pending, confirmed and available earnings; and

  • payments made to you.

This information is necessary for Sendough to work and allows us to attribute activity, calculate earnings, investigate problems and protect the service from abuse.

Security and fraud-prevention information

Because Sendough involves financial rewards, we may use account, device, technical, sharing, transaction and payment information to help protect Sendough, its users and its affiliate relationships from fraud, abuse and misuse.

This may include creating internal security or risk indicators and keeping records of compliance reviews and decisions.

A security or risk indicator does not by itself mean that wrongdoing has occurred. Where appropriate, we review relevant circumstances before taking account-level action.

Information you send us

If you contact us, we may collect your contact details, the contents of your message and any subsequent correspondence with you.

How we use your information

We may use your information to:

  • create, verify and manage your Sendough account;

  • authenticate you and support account recovery;

  • provide optional biometric quick re-login;

  • process links shared through Sendough;

  • determine whether a retailer or purchase is eligible to generate earnings;

  • track shares, clicks, purchases and commission;

  • distinguish genuine clicks from previews, bots and duplicates;

  • calculate and display your earnings;

  • process withdrawal requests and make deposits to your nominated UK bank account;

  • provide customer support;

  • prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, misuse and breaches of our Terms;

  • protect the security of Sendough and its users;

  • investigate disputed transactions or earnings;

  • maintain financial, accounting and audit records;

  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and

  • operate, maintain and improve Sendough.

Our lawful bases for using your information

UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for processing personal information. The basis we use depends on why we are processing the information.

Providing Sendough to you

We process information where it is necessary to provide the Sendough service you have requested. This includes creating and verifying your account, authenticating you, processing links, tracking eligible activity, calculating earnings and processing payments.

Our lawful basis for this processing is generally performance of our contract with you.

Fraud prevention, security and protecting Sendough

We have a legitimate interest in preventing fraud and misuse, protecting users and affiliate relationships, securing our systems, investigating suspicious activity and resolving disputes.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether our use of your information is necessary and proportionate and whether your rights and interests outweigh ours.

Legal and financial obligations

We may process and retain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting and other regulatory requirements.

Consent

Where we use optional technologies or carry out processing that requires your consent, we will ask for it separately.

You can withdraw consent for optional processing where applicable without preventing us from carrying out processing that is necessary to provide the core Sendough service.

How Sendough tracking works

Tracking is a fundamental part of Sendough.

When you share an eligible link through Sendough, we need to associate activity with your account so that we can determine:

  • whether the link was created and used;

  • whether somebody clicked it;

  • whether an eligible purchase took place;

  • whether the retailer or affiliate partner approved, adjusted or declined the transaction;

  • how much commission was generated; and

  • how much is due to you.

This core attribution and earnings tracking is necessary to provide Sendough and cannot be switched off while continuing to use the features that depend on it.

Sendough currently works with affiliate partners including Skimlinks and Awin, as well as participating retailers and other affiliate services those partners may use.

We may receive transaction information from these partners, such as:

  • retailer;

  • date of transaction;

  • transaction, order or attribution reference;

  • purchase value;

  • commission amount;

  • transaction status;

  • payment or settlement information; and

  • whether a transaction has been approved, amended, cancelled, declined, refunded or returned.

We use this information to attribute earnings to the correct Sendough account and to keep earnings accurate when a retailer or affiliate partner later changes a transaction.

People who click your Sendough links

Your friends, family and other recipients do not need to create a Sendough account simply because you share a link with them.

When somebody opens a Sendough link, Sendough may record technical information about the request, including the link used, IP address, user agent, time of the request and referring webpage where available. We use this to operate the redirect, support attribution, maintain accurate service records and protect Sendough from abuse.

The relevant retailer, Skimlinks, Awin, affiliate network or other tracking provider may also process technical and transactional information necessary to attribute the visit and any subsequent eligible purchase. Those organisations may process information under their own privacy notices and tracking policies.

Sendough does not need to know the identity of the person you have sent a link to simply in order for you to share that link.

Emails from Sendough

We send service-related emails using our hosting and email-delivery infrastructure and service providers where applicable.

These may include messages about:

  • confirming your email address;

  • password resets and account security;

  • changes to your account details;

  • customer support;

  • earnings or payments;

  • important changes to Sendough; and

  • legal or operational information.

We do not use your Sendough account details to send unrelated general marketing emails.

If you separately ask to be notified about a Sendough launch or product update, we may use the email address you provide for the notification you requested. This is separate from creating a Sendough account.

Analytics

Some tracking is essential to provide Sendough, including tracking links, clicks, eligible purchases and earnings. This is described above under How Sendough tracking works.

We may separately use analytics tools, including Google Analytics on the Sendough website and other analytics tools where enabled, to understand how people use Sendough and help us improve the product.

Product-behaviour analytics is separate from the tracking required to calculate Sendough earnings.

Where consent is required for non-essential analytics or similar technologies, we will ask for it separately.

Fraud and security checks

Protecting Sendough from fraud, abuse and misuse is important because the service involves real financial rewards and relies on affiliate-programme rules.

We may use automated checks and manual review to identify activity that appears unusual, inconsistent with genuine use of Sendough or otherwise requires investigation.

A security or risk flag does not by itself mean that wrongdoing has occurred.

Where appropriate, we may review relevant account, sharing, transaction and payment information before paying earnings or allowing further use of an account.

We may temporarily suspend an account while we investigate suspected fraud, abuse or a potential breach of our Terms. A suspended user may still be able to log in and view existing account information and earnings, but sharing, withdrawals and sensitive account changes may be restricted while the review is open.

Where we conclude that an account should be permanently closed for compliance reasons, access may be blocked and necessary financial and audit information retained.

Bank details and payments

We collect your account holder name, sort code and account number so we can make deposits of your available Sendough earnings to your nominated UK bank account.

We may also use bank account information where reasonably necessary to:

  • process and review withdrawal requests;

  • prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts;

  • investigate suspicious payment activity;

  • maintain financial records; and

  • resolve payment disputes.

Our banking provider may process information relating to payments under its own legal and regulatory obligations.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information where necessary with organisations or categories of organisations including:

  • Skimlinks;

  • Awin;

  • other affiliate networks and tracking providers;

  • participating retailers;

  • email and communications providers;

  • banking and payment providers;

  • website, app, database and cloud-hosting providers;

  • analytics providers where applicable;

  • security and fraud-prevention providers;

  • accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers;

  • HMRC, regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities where required; and

  • a prospective purchaser or investor if Sendough or the business operating it is sold, transferred or reorganised.

We aim to share only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

How long we keep your information

We do not intend to keep personal information for longer than we reasonably need it.

Financial, transaction and payment records

We normally retain relevant financial, transaction and payment records for six years where required for accounting, tax, legal, dispute-resolution or fraud-prevention purposes.

This may include records needed to explain how an earning, adjustment or payout was calculated even after an account has been closed or anonymised.

Active accounts

We retain the information necessary to operate your account while your Sendough account remains active.

Inactive accounts

If your account has had no meaningful activity for approximately three years, we may contact you to ask whether you want to keep it open.

If we do not hear from you, we may close the account and delete or anonymise information we no longer need.

We may retain information that is still required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or outstanding-payment purposes.

Login and security records

We normally retain login and security-event records, including associated IP and device information, for up to 24 months.

We may retain relevant information for longer if it relates to suspected fraud, abuse, a dispute, an investigation or legal proceedings.

Link, click and attribution records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary to support transaction attribution, financial records, fraud review or disputes.

Support enquiries

We normally retain support correspondence for up to 24 months after the enquiry has been resolved, unless there is a reason to keep it for longer.

Unclaimed earnings

Closing an inactive account does not automatically mean that legitimate earnings already owed to you are lost.

Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to contact you about available earnings before closing an inactive account.

We may retain the minimum information necessary to identify, account for and pay legitimate outstanding earnings even after other account information has been deleted or anonymised.

The detailed treatment of outstanding or unclaimed balances may also be explained in our Terms.

International processing

Some of the organisations that provide technology, communications, analytics, affiliate or other services to Sendough may process information outside the United Kingdom.

Where UK data protection rules relating to international transfers apply, we will use an appropriate lawful mechanism or safeguard for the transfer.

This may include transferring information to countries covered by UK adequacy regulations or using recognised contractual safeguards.

Keeping your information secure

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

Depending on the information and service involved, these measures may include:

  • access controls;

  • email verification and account authentication;

  • encryption and secure credential storage;

  • session and device-credential revocation after relevant security events;

  • security monitoring;

  • fraud and abuse review;

  • restricted access to financial information; and

  • controls over third-party service providers.

No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to use safeguards appropriate to the information we process.

Your rights

UK data protection law gives you a number of rights. Which rights apply can depend on the circumstances and the lawful basis we rely on.

These may include the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • ask us to delete personal information in certain circumstances;

  • ask us to restrict how we use certain information;

  • object to certain processing;

  • receive certain information in a portable format;

  • withdraw consent where processing relies on your consent; and

  • complain about how your information has been used.

To exercise your rights, email support@sendough.com.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Your right to object

Where we rely on legitimate interests to process your personal information, you may have the right to object to that processing.

If you object, we will consider your request and whether we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing the information.

You can raise an objection by emailing support@sendough.com.

Deleting your Sendough account

You can delete your Sendough account from the account area of the Sendough app. If you cannot access the app or need help, contact support@sendough.com.

When you delete your account, we revoke active login and quick-login credentials and delete or anonymise information that we no longer need.

We may still need to retain certain information for purposes including:

  • tax and accounting requirements;

  • paying or accounting for outstanding earnings;

  • fraud prevention;

  • resolving disputes;

  • enforcing our Terms; or

  • complying with another legal obligation.

We may retain a one-way record of the deleted account where necessary to explain that an old account was deleted without keeping it operational.

Deleting your account does not necessarily mean that every record associated with it can be deleted immediately.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we use your personal information, please contact us at support@sendough.com so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as Sendough develops, our service providers change or our legal and regulatory requirements change.

When we update it, we will change the Last updated date shown at the top of this page.

If we make an important change to how we use your personal information, we may also bring it to your attention through Sendough or by contacting you.
